Merrow Residents’ Association have set up with St John’s a support network to assist those who will find themselves isolated and in difficulties during the coronavirus epidemic.

The community helpline has been set up to direct residents to services that can help during the coronavirus pandemic:
• To help direct residents to services that can help provide support to those who need it, such as picking up shopping, prescription collections or having someone who can be a telephone friend.
• To provide advice on where to register your offer of help to support your community
The helpline will not be able to provide any public health advice (please use existing services such as NHS 111) or answer general enquiries relating to council services.

Please be aware of Scams which seem to be developing – the most mentioned one is a visit from someone offering to do shopping, cash up-front, and then of course not to be seen again.
